Inshore Fishing in Delacroix Island in Southeast Louisiana

Drum everywhere!
Cajun Expeditions
The trout are steadily moving inside the marsh, but the water is still a little stained with a yellowish color in Delacroix. Greater numbers of trout are still in the outer bays where the water is a little clearer just look for signs of bait. The drum are anywhere and everywhere from the holes to the outer islands, bigger drum outside with smaller ones inside. Redfish are fairly easy on most shorelines. Fish live shrimp under cork along passes and points, but once you locate a good bite soft plastics in chartreuse and shrimp creole have been working well too. Capt. Sean 504-723-3229.
