WEEKLY RIGOLETS FISHING REPORTS

I fished the OUR LADY of LOURDES Redfish tournament with my wife Jackelyn & son Jeffrey Saturday in the rain. We had a great time catching REDFISH in the BILOXI Marsh. We caught over 20 Redfish and the 2 biggest placed us 4th in the 11 team tournament. A fun time for a good cause.

That was fun BUT back to work.

On the Blue Wave for this ANGLING ADVENTURE, Mark Cobos with long time friends Mike & Harold. We fished the local area with live shrimp on a drop shot rig to catch 24 Speckled Trout a few drum and a Sheepshead. Back at my dock before the rain. Harold caught a big Black Drum at 28 lbs. It put up a great fight But the Falcon, Shimano & Berkley Big Game did the job very well. This group all went to high school together and use to rent boats in Lake Pontchartrain But now they let me do all the work while they enjoy catching fish.

Lloyd Bullock and his Redfish partner Todd didn't want to hear the winds were to strong to catch fish. They wanted to fish, so we made our way down the ICW to the MRGO where they caught there limit of nice Redfish. The water was very low which made sight fishing the way to go. Lloyd & Todd are good fishermen which helps when the wind is strong. Good job guys. See you next time.

Renee Caillouet wanted to fish with her friend Mike on his birthday. We loaded up the Pure Bay and headed for the Biloxi Marsh. We fished some interior lakes & ponds with plastics & live Shrimp under corks to catch 32 Speckled Trout & 3 Big Redfish.
