tides are generally a few hours later than Shell Beach. Haven't been able to pinpoint a number. Right now its falling in morning, incoming in evening. Keep in mind tides in Lake Pontchartrain are more unpredictable than other places because there are only two passes for water to go through. This means if water levels in Lake Borgne are higher than in lake P due to the wind, water will be coming in all day.
This is for the east side. As you go west, tide ranges decrease quite a bit.
where you are in the lake makes a difference in just how much the tide matters if at all.
often the direction or size tide makes no difference as long as there is ''some'' tide movement
since the lake is so wide open there arent choke points that funnel water so the mouth of the lake is the main spot that tide is noticable, for the rest of the lake its hard to tell when or even if the water is moving but the fish can tell.
