Not going to be down there tomorrow but was down there this past weekend. The weather pretty much destroyed our plans, but we did find a few fish on the beach during breaks in the rain. Caught all the live shrimp we needed in Fourchon then just carolina rigged them casting 30-40 yards into the surf. Good luck and let us know how you do.

Ohh I havnt been over that way in forever. I didnt know the beaches reopened from BP. Where did you catch all the shrimp at over there?

The Grand Isle beach is open but Elmers & Fourchon are closed again after Isaac. They were open for a while once the spill was cleaned up but Isaac washed oil onto the beaches again.

I caught the shrimp from the bank at a culvert that runs into the Floatation Canal.
