Hey, great pic. I've seen three HUGE racked bucks standing in the exact same spot eating cudzu. It was this time last year. There are plenty of deer in that area due to the old Antebellum home, city limits and NO HUNTING. There are some real 'pigs' in there...every once in a while a big buck is seen running through town, run over along side the highway or even jumping through windows into a business. Yep, Natchez is rural and this provides plenty of opportunity for deer to thrive. Good post!

I have seen some real good deer in the field next to the school across from walmart in the middle of the day if you want to see some good deer drive the trace between Natchez and Port Gibson at night

Yeah I've seen plenty of them around the area but this is the first good pic I have got. I've also seen them on the golf course across the street, but never had one sit still so long she wasn't scared at all

A few years back I was at the ER in Natchez with a friend. I walked out the door and was standing on the elevated parking lot I looked down and there were 4 deer feeding two small bucks in full velvet and a doe and a yearling. Last year there was a dead doe on side the road in front of the Wal Mart in Vidalia.
