Nice job on the fish and welcome to the forum and Louisiana!

As someone once said, 'I've seen Florida's pristene water; that's what water looks like when you take all the fish out of it! (lol)

You will find Louisiana to be a 'yak fishing paradise. I'm an avid 'yak fisherman myself and the opportunities to 'yak fish in this state are endless.

i bet it is fun to catch them big strong fish in a yak, pulling you all over the place like a 12 foot bobber, got to be more in touch with the fishing than being in a regular boat, i don't think i would have put that big nasty on my lap though hahaha

It's nice to fish where the fish can't see you first huh?
