Not getting in your business, but if you've never been to Dewey Wills (Saline) on opening weekend of squirrel season, you're in for a surprise. I'm sure there will be other people bow hunting, but I wouldn't recommend getting in a tree. I too will be bow hunting there alot this year, but not the first couple of weekends. Just sayin'.

I had figured there would probably be quite a few squirell hunters seeing that it is opening weekend for it so I planned on using my ground blind.

Yeah, a ground blind would be a good idea, just be ready for alot of company. Good luck though, hope you kill something. Who knows, I might even walk across you chasing an old tree rat...

Sometimes the squirrel hunters get deer up and moving too... its not always a bad idea to be out on opening weekend ;)

You just have to be prepared mentally... one day you might have deer pushed on you and the next you might have a guy walk up under your tree and light a cigarette... gotta take the good with the bad on public land.
