Yep, Timber Rattler. West Feliciana just west of Jackson.

I know there are some in St Helena , but I have never seen one in St Helena nor in Tangipahoa , Washington Parish or Walthall Co . Mississippi . I did see one in Jefferson County Miss. ( Union Church area ) while bush hogging . You made good case for wearing snake boots . I cleared much privet hedge from the bases of Pecans and oaks in my food plot this week in St Helena and I sure wore mine.
