The little tin building isnt the old tower. It has also been called the dog shack. Like he said take the next left go down through the pylons and take another left. Right after the two signs you will hit big pigeon. Take a right to go towards grand lake. If you go left be aware that big pigeon may appear to be wide and deep farther down but before it even gets narrow the whole thing is grassed over when the water is low.
I think i may have found a canal last time that would have brought me to Big Pigeon. It was just before the loop canal on the left going towards grand lake from the landing. It was a narrow canal with cypress trees on the left side and it was pretty long. There was some wooden pylons at the end and then the canal curves left. There are two or three more sets of wooden pylons in this canal and then i believe it turns into Big Pigeon? am i correct? there are some other smaller canals off of this canal also. thanks for the comments guys
Thanks guys i know how to get there now. Hows the fishing been down there since this cold weather came through? im heading out there tomorrow afternoon. Should i switch up my patterns because of the colder weather? and do ya'll think the saca lait will still be hitting? thanks and god bless
I take lil pigeon all the way down until I see a little shed up on a point then the first canal on your left after the shed is a pipeline that runs into another pipeline the 2nd pipeline will bring you into big pigeon. If you have an iPhone send me your number in a messages and ill drop a pin in the maps app right where you need to hang the left. It's a pretty narrow pipeline but deep and you can make it with no problem...just stay in the center of it.
