I've been to the northern end of the tressles and seen the water so clear you could see 3 feet down and see schools of them feeding on the poles.could have loaded the boat.just like the say, you've got to move around.every report I've seen them post has been accurate to my knowledge. Dockside has improved my fishing on the lake.sometimes you just got to fish harder and smarter.
I agree with Dr. Spot, there are other fish under those bridges besides Drum. When I go fishing and live shrimp is available, I make sure that its in the boat. Never know when you may need it. I've made the mistake many times of not having it and having to look at nearby fisherman pull in fish with it while I'm chinking artificials and market bait to no avail.
Yes y'all are right but I was agreeing with Keakar and I think he was saying that he wouldn't go buy a bunch of expensive live shrimp just to target black drum . Because the guys from dockside had dang near a whole ice chest of that on their video .
Years ago my brother found a bunch under a lighted bridge at night . He couldn't get them to bite anything artificial so he started snagging them with a treble hook . He brought home a bunch and end up giving them all away . Lol I guess he didn't think about having to clean them all .
i know there are trying to sell bait but there aint no way in hell i'd ever buy live shrimp for catching drum lol
