If you think it's a panther, I'd say no... It looks more like a domestic cat to me.... I've seen a panther about a mile outside of Port Allen in the mid 80's.... it looks like its 7' long and you can see the muscles very distinctly. That's not a panther.... I am by no means an authority on it, but I'd bet good money it's a domestic feline.

...we have one that comes to our back door every nite and we feed him...his name is 'Sylvester 'da Hero' and weighs in about 20 lbs...(my neighbor said he actually seen him chase a coyote)...cheers
