As for what i know whale tail is for Runnin keep boat from Porposing, also keeps motor from suckin Air when runnin and Trimmed to high up, Shallow water fishin ummm ya might was get smaller boat,

Not sure of your question but you can change props to get on plane quicker . Like go from a 21' pitch to a 19 ?? But it may run your Rpms up to high while running .

Whale Tail might help a little but, then you have to put up with the big goofy thing the rest of the time. Like Tom said, trim tabs is the only way to go. A set of Lenco tabs will make a whole new boat out of it.

i agree with the capt. i just recently installed trim tabs on my 19 ft. boat and like he said , a whole different animal.they are worth every penny.

How do the trim tabs work ? Are they stationary , or do you have a switch to adjust them while running like your regular trim button ?

2 switches, can be controlled individually. No more moving people around to level the boat. If you ever run a boat with them you will never be without them again!
