Freshwater Fishing in Louisiana

New

Just moved to the Covington area last Monday will have next Wednesday and Thursday free and want to get the kayak out for some fishing. Is there any small public water nearby? Just looking for some bluegill with my flyrod.

Fresh Water Fishing

Go to the Middle West Pearl River on I-10. This is past Slidell. Go over the West Pearl bridge (high bridge over muddy water) and stop under the next bridge. Put your kayak in and go up-river. Plenty of good fishing spots. Good luck.
