Waterfowl Hunting in Lake Pontchartrain / Northshore in Southeast Louisiana

Long Break

After not hunting since hurricane Katrina, yes I said KATRINA. I finally made it back to the marsh this morning and scratched a limit of bluewing teal. Action was slow with not many birds flying, but seen some big flocks new birds buzzing the marsh. Thanks to my buddy Steve for taking me back to the marsh after 8 horrible years of not hunting and hope to do it all over again next weekend. Hopefully more birds will be in by the closer of the season.
