POST ISAAC
Finally got my hoist working again.Made a short run and was dissappointed in the results.The water is ok but not great still not right for the specks to like.Caught 9 specks and 11 white trout and 2 drum(released 3 large drum over 15lbs).
When cleaning the fish i felt very sad,something was not the same.I did not have any fresh water cats or gar fish feeding on the remains.Also dead quiet and none to be seen were the seagulls that feast on the scraps.It may not sound like much but,I miss seeing and hearing that part of nature.Hopefully the catfish,gars,and seagulls have applied for FEMA assistance and will make their appearrance again soon.
I am not 100% back yet but this one hurt real bad and is taking longer to get things back together.
