Does anyone have any experience with this handheld GPS. The base map on the thing sucks and I am having difficulty loading any other kind of detailed map. 225-532-9403
I have been having a titon 400 for 3 years now. Due to the poor base map, I bought an 'accuterra SD card .Turns out its not much better. Waste of good money. Most of the time it shows me traveling on land rather than water when in the marsh. It is OK in open water. I mostly use it to locate underwater reefs in open water. If I have strong enough signal I am better off using google earth on my cell phone because the maps are more accurate.Form what I have been reading on Capt Paul reports,I probably should have bought a Garmin.
