Inshore Fishing in Leeville / Golden Meadow in Southeast Louisiana
Capt. Bob's Leeville Report
Hello Again Cyber Anglers,
Fished Leeville last week out of Boudreaux’s Waterfront Motel. East wind was blowing so getting outside was out of the question as it was rough and dirty. We fished close to Leeville fishing Bayou Lafourche, the East and West Access Canals, and Bayou Pierre et Le. Caught nice messes of Redfish, Specks and White Trout along with tons of Gafttops (Specks best friend). Specks and White’s hit carolinia rigged minnows and Redfish clobbered a small Straight Jacket spinner. All the action was caught on film and will air this weekend on LCN and betweenthebanks.com and Vision Communacations.
When I left Sunday afternoon, Leeville was almost 100% back up. Leeville Restaurant is still airing out and TYD’s was waiting on insurance to get their fuel pumps back up. Griffin’s has fuel and ice and is back up also. Bait is available at Terry’s. The Redfish are on along with the inside Trout action as the Fall inside season has started. If you are fishing Leeville and need help check out BTB or call the fishing line.C U there and in the meantime good luck fishing…Capt. Bob
