Anyone that spends any time on the water has them, bad days, good days and those really special days. Today was one of those really special days. Robert Clemons wanted his kids to feel the excitement of reeling in some fish. Everything went right as these kids were terrific and the reds were slamming their crabs like they were starving. Young Will (3) and Katherine (5) looked like pro's and these were the first reds they ever caught. Hard to describe the excitement from the first hook-up till #20 hit the deck. Oh yeah, it took a short 2 hours to fill the box. The smiles on these kids faces says it all. Be on the look out for a little video shot back at the Lake House lodge when we got in. All fish caught on 3/4 oz. carolina rigged cracked crabs in 21 ft. of water. The reds should stay plentiful for several more weeks if anyone wants to introduce some kids or adults to catching, not just fishing. Thanks Robert and looking forward to our Oct. trips.
