Lighthouse returns!

The lighthouse at West End will be re-lit. This is a great event and another sign of the rebirth of New Orleans following Hurricane Katrina. There will be a run/walk, a performance by the 610 Stompers and just a good old relaxing time chillin on the Lakefront like the old days.

Come on out and be a part of this historic day.

Lake Pontchartrain Basin Foundation is rebuilding the Lighthouse and will open it soon to the public as the New Canal Lighthouse Museum and Education Center. Help mark this occasion and join us to watch the light be re-lit!
