Ground blind i used last year worked great! Even though i missed Twice! lol it was a Great experience. had a 4 point come within 5ft or the blind. one hunt. next hunt had 3 does walk within 10 ft from the blind. i was able to draw and move like i wanted while they ate. about 15-20 yards.Not sure what type of blind you will be hunting, but i would say unzip the window fully. with just the mesh up. i didnt unzip enough and shot right through the wall! which obviously made my arrow off. but other than that! i say do it! you will love it! oh and its hot as hell in them on a evening hunt!

You won't be able to hunt in a ground blind in an open cutover in bow season except for first couple hours in morning. That thing will roast you in the open just like a thanksgiving turkey. You can get the first couple hours in morning but afternoons no way it will already be preheated. Get the tallest one you can find for heat reasons and easier to draw bow back and open windows so you don't have to shoot thru mesh. Just wear dark or black clothes inside and black out your face or at least break up oiutline of your face. Put it out now so deer will get used to it.
