Grand Isle Redfish Rodeo Scheduled
The Grand Isle Redfish Rodeo that was postponed due to Hurricane Isaac for Labor Day Weekend has been rescheduled.
The 52nd Annual Grand Isle Redfish Rodeo is scheduled for Friday, September 21 through Sunday, September 23, 2012 at Bridgeside Marina in Grand Isle. There will be 3 days of great fishing for redfish along with dinner on Saturday evening and Live Music with the awards ceremony on Sunday.
Bobby Terrebonne, President of the Redfish Rodeo, says 'The rodeo has been postponed for 2 years due to Tropical Storm Lee in 2011 and then Hurricane Isaac this year. It is time to have a rodeo and have a great time.'
Tickets can be purchased at Bridgeside Marina, Sand Dollar Marina and other locations throughout the area. Tickets can also be purchased the weekend of the rodeo. See you at Grand Isle.
