To be honest I dont need your approval or mightier than thou attitude. I really wonder why people have to turn post on here into a im better than you kinda thing. You free dive im happy for you. To steal a quote from another board that pretty much sums up how I feel about people who say that they are better because they freedive.

'We pride ourselves on being lazy and not freediving but using the 'cheating method' of spearfishing which is using scuba. We are the lowest of the low as we like to continue to breathe while we seek out fish for our freezer, even though we are not worth the air we breathe since we spearfish with scuba. Maybe we should just stop doing anything outside or healthy and just watch youtube videos while we eat fast food and masturbate instead.

But ill say this when it comes to spearfishing im relatively new to going into the Gulf with my own boat and finding spots to hunt. This reminds me of when the LDWF started to let everyone use a cross bow instead of compound bows. Major arguements on here and other sites, about how sorry you had to be to use a crossbow.

In this sport that we love to do the last thing we need is bickering among ourselves. Save that energy fighting NOAA and their ultimate wisdom of fish research and telling us what is on the decline and what aint. So in the future unless you are going to say something helpful please dont waste the bandwidth of this forum to post your narrow minded comments.
