This is GlocknersPlace.com twist on trout almandine. First take a half cup of your almonds and grind them up. Put them into you seasoned white flour. Heat half stick of butter in your pan on med heat. Dredge the trout into a egg and milk wash and then roll them into the seasoned flour with ground up almonds. Place the trout face down in the pan and cook for about two min. Flip and cook another three min. Remove the trout from the pan and add the other half stick of butter. Toss in the sliced almonds and sauté till golden brown, splash with lemon juice and white wine. Pour over trout and enjoy. Simple easy and fast.
Butter- 1 stick
Slice Almonds- 1 cup
Lemon Juice- ¼ cup
White Wine- ¼ cup
