For the past three years at this time we could not buy a picture of a buck. They only started showing up during the rut. This summer we had the lease thinned now bucks like these are abundunt through out the lease. If you able, manage your timber.

Make sure and post some pics in three weeks when that batchelor group breaks up...gotta feeling you will not see hide nor hair of this group beside the stray pic from time to time again until Janurary. I find a group like this I have learned over the years that when they break up; they leave the area except for maybe a young buck that hasnt learned better yet.

Good post, in area one I see bachelor packs throughout the end of November every year, so you may get em still stacked together! Gotta luv those greener forest. Its one thing I always look for when scouting.
