Shell Beach Report!!! First off we took a pretty good hit from Isaac at Shell Beach we have been working every day to rebuild sheds, docks and steps feel like we were lucky that that is all the damage we had. Sheds rebuilt and ice machine should be working tomorrow. REDS, REDS, REDS!!! This is the good news my friends. Charlie, Jimmy and Mark Campo had a last-minute cancellation for an offshore fishing trip. They called me up and the rest is history. We left the dock this afternoon at 1 PM made one stop and the redfish went nuts all 22 to 30 inch redfish as fast as you could cast. The guys caught their 20 fish limit along with a few puppy drum. After we limited out they played catch and release for a while talk about a pleasant surprise in a fun afternoon. All fish were caught on artificial baits and or dead shrimp. We have openings and the fishing should be red-hot through November, come down and see why we have so much repeat business. The lodge is in perfect shape and the fishing is hot. The Campo’s are working hard on rebuilding. They have 2 backdown ramps that are in full service. They are more than happy to send you in the right direction when you launch.
