was in leeville last weekend and the water looked
good, Waqs still a bit high for good fishing but there were a few folks catching some rat reds along the road between leeville and fourchon.

anything blowing south or southwest gives you murky water and north or northeast gives you the cleanest water.

tides arent off much from normal so as far as storm related the effects are pretty much over with except for larger fish moving more inside

When south or southeast wind water in leeville area will be cleaner. Winds from west muddies up water quickly. North wind blows out the water which also causes not clean conditions. Love fishing leeville on a 5-10 mph south to south east wind, clean water comes in and fishing is great !!

i find south to be ok but clarity is not as good as anything from the north where i go but where you fish i guess this can vary a lot

overall anything from the west is bad news for golden meadow leeville area as far as water clarity goes but it often depends more on whats going on the day or two before you go
