Where to fish?
Okay so I realize it will take a few years for the bass populations to get good again after these fish kills. My question is where do I bass fish in the mean time? Will there still be decent bass fishing in places like the spillway, pearl river, bayou black, cataouatche, des allemands, etc.?? Or will it be pointless to even go to those areas? Just trying to figure out what I can expect.

Well that trip I posted about was the saturday before the storm, so I dont know how bad that area got it.

Good fishing
Put in at belle river a week ago, fished all those canals back through there.Saw no dead fish and we put some decent size fish in the boat.

Sorry about that Redshad. The only fish kill reports are above the inter-coastal, Orange Grove, etc. Anything below should be ok.

You just made a trip to Bayou Black. Did you see any bad, water or dead fish below the inter-coastal? From your report, sounds like that will be the place to be. I think Bayou Bob must have a big smile on his face about right now.
