Manchac update?
Has anyone payed attention to the water level around manchac since Isaac came through while driving down hwy. 55. I wanted to head out there this weekend to do a little scouting and just would like a little heads up on what to expect before i make the drive from Baton Rouge.

im not familiar with wax lake at all and dont have much of a boat, if i had enough boat to get out there i would love to go and check it out. like i said i heard good reports about it already but thats just hear say.

The sad thing is that you can not believe anything any one post in these reports... People try to lie and convience or keep people from hunting areas that they hunt...

I know that is very true. Also if you do post where you made a great hunt or fishing trip people will be flocking to that area to get in on the action. i have no problem pointing people in a good direction but I've had people ask me to just about pinpoint locations on here where i have had succesful hunts and fishing trips. All in all this is still my favorite site.

Why would you need to scout manchac... If the Wax is loaded down with teal like you posted why would you need to scout any other areas?...
