The rivers are still pretty high , but everything is dropping fast . There was water still across hwy 22 yesterday .

Are the waterways still closed to boat traffic? Blind and Amite?

I would say not yet ? I do know some still have water in their house . But I haven't heard an official say whether they are or not .

Went to my camp on Tickfaw today. Water is not really going down... No wake zone for the entire river. Got 4 inches of water in our camp. Have never had water in the camp in 29 years..

The diversion canal at head of island might have gone down 10 to 12 inches today . It doesnt look like its gone down much in the last 3 days , almost sitting still , very slow moving .We're suppose to have a light westerly wind tomorrow , so hopefully that'll help push some of that water out a lil quicker .

I passed by the SJ boat club launch today. I'd estimate about a foot of water in the parking lot. A couple of guys were launching boats off the Airline. I hope the building didn't get damaged.
