Kayak Fishing in The Rigolets / Lake Catherine in Southeast Louisiana

making transition to Kayak

Where is everyone putting in to make it to the trestles so the paddle isnt that bad? Also any suggestions on where to put in to try to make it to Polecat bend in Lake Borgne. Last week I was able to sneek off in the marsh off of hwy 11 and did well with the reds and a few specs, would like to get into more of the open water world.

Thanks for any help you can share.
