I spoke to Capt. Bob by phone earlier. He is doing well but received some trees down and minor roof damage at his residence but all is doing good. He will try and make it to Leeville sometime Wednesday.
Authorities are only letting people that either own or rent properties go past the flood gates at Golden Meadow due to debris on the roadway and to keep sightseeres out.
Damage reports have not changed. All elevated buildings are either ok or very minor damage. Ground floor buildings have of course water damage along with mud and debris everywhere. Power lines are down from Golden Meadow to Grandisle but work crews have already started working to restore power.
I have to work Monday & Tuesday but plan on going down Wednesday with pressure washer, generator, gas etc. to help clean up.

Went down to leeville today to do electrical inspection on a trailer park.
Terry is just about through cleaning up .
all the stores and restraunts got mud and water.
lots of cleaning up going on.
Power out for a few more days for sure.
Rode across the bridge and seems like you can get to fourchon but have to show proof of ownership to get on G.I. dusk to dawn curfew in affect as of now.

Cancelled - Help with clean up and repairs has been cancelled at this time. Got word that they are waiting on insurance adjusters to come out before any repairs are made.
Electrical poles that were down are now erected and shouldn't be long before they have power restored.
