Cocahoe Minnow

Has anyone ever heard of a cocahoe minnow biting a topwater lure? The other day I caught a huge 9 inch cocahoe minnow on a Heddon Torpedo in a canal. Sorry I dont have the picture I forgot to take one. I was fishing for bass.

That sure is cool. I wonder if it wasn't a fish called a fat sleeper. Really! Never heard of cacahoe minnows getting that big. Sure wish you had a picture.
