Well the hurricane preparations are done! Ready for Isaac no matter what path he takes. One thing for sure is that our great redfishing will be interrupted for a few days. Bad timing too as the reds are eating up everything in sight. We're getting into that time of the year where we crush the reds in the deep holes. Anyone can catch them! I've been fishing this pattern for nearly 12 years and its almost a guaranteed thing in regards to catching limits of reds. Big thanks to our customers this past week including Clayton Breaux & the Seacor Marine team, Mike Percle & crew with Zachary Construction, Peter Kirkland & crew, Tony Robichaux & crew, and Tommy Duplantis & crew. Capts Ricky Brondum,Gerald Ellender along with myself brought in over 150 redfish,65 trout along with a few puppy drum and nice freshwater catfish. Looking forward to a very busy September and we'll get back to whacking the fish as soon as Isaac gets out the way. Good luck fishing.
