Pre-Hurricane Redfish Party!!
Another great day of fishing down in Dularge yesterday with my son Blake his buddy Allen and Capt. Rodney 'TroutHog' Bourque. Blake promised he would be the deckhand today on the trip becsuse he needed to make some cash for a new playstation game but who knew that deckhand didn't take off fish, bait hooks or clean the boat, lol.
Well I had the privilege of being the captain/deckhand when It came down to it but I enjoyed every mInute of it, those young boys had their hands full battling the big Redfish and Huge drum one after another today. I started at day break in the honey hole but no good there today so we had to hunt around a little but when we found them it was on FIRE! They where catching Reds and Drum one after another, Reds where in the 24-30inch and the drum where up to 30lbs. Great day one the water watching the young ones moan and groan to get the big boys to the boat.
