My biggest of the day was 27-inches.
Snappa 'Yakin
I made a trip on Friday to Pensacola to give the snapper a shot in the 'yaks.
We pedaled four miles out off the beach in Pensacola to a small bottom spot that has been holding fish.
As soon as we got over the spot in about 75 feet of water, the fish finder lit up. It was on from the first drop. For the next couple of hours was a mix of nice Red Snapper, Spanish Macs and one nice Grouper.
There's nothing like fighting these bottom dwellers miles offshore sitting on a plastic boat!
