Inshore Fishing in Delacroix Island in Southeast Louisiana

25 Delacroix Trout,50 White Trout
25 Trout ,50 White Trout
I usually do not fish on Saturdays but with the possibility of ISAAC messing things up in a couple of days i figured i go while i can.I went by myself to go check out a couple of spots.I left the dock at 6:45am.
The wind was up enough to rule out Black Bay so i stayed in protected water.Found a couple of spots holding fish out towards Oak River Bay.I caught the fish on an incoming tide on a 3/8 oz sliding sinker with a clear sparkle beetle in 15-20ft of water. The fish were not big but they were fun to catch. They were not as aggressive today as the last two days were. You had only one or two strikes per cast if you did not hook them.Back at the dock for 11am.I like fishing by myself ,it gives me time to experiment around with different spots and techniques.
