Had a really good time yesterday out of Shell Beach. George from Texas and Kenny from north Louisiana were in the area so decide to go fishin' with me. I am glad they did, they were really upbeat and fun to fish with. It was Kenny's first time salt fishin' and boy was he in for a treat. And my lady, Ines, was trying her hand at decky and did very well. I took the guys to the boundry water between inshore and offshore trout and got on a really frenzied bite all morning. Better size then couple days ago and FAST action. Did not take um long to get their limit. We wanted to find Kenny a big redfish so I went offshore to wade through the sharks for um. We found um at stop number two and play horse the mule out of the rig for a few monster fights finding two fish small enough to keep for their bulls. Still had some time and water was getting rough so we headed back to the marsh for some shoreline cork fishing. Picked up a few nice slot reds, and a couple flounders. Decided we wanted one more shot on some big ones so headed to the Bull redfish inshore spot in MRGO. Trolled some croakers and bang bang, double up on bulls! Excellent way to end the day! Guys got a little bit of everything and went home with a cooler packed with Louisiana seafood.
