Bass Fishing in Central Louisiana

la state record spot

caught this big girl earlyer this year and weighed her an took a picture the quickly put her back. she weighed 6.2 an surpasses the past state record spotted bass. People always ask 'why in the hell would you through a state record back' an the answer is simple if i would have took her then i could have killed thousands of spots which are already hard to find. that beats all records in my book.

Awesome. Would love to find some decent spots. I've been catching tons around Verret but they are real small. LOVE when they hit a crankbait!!
