L-R Obies kids Nate and Nova, Davids son Max, and my son Skylar.
350-375 lbs
He couldnt be eaten. The hog smelled bad from about 10 yards and when we started cleaning him the meat almost made me hurl. We fed chunks to the dogs for a job well done, and saved the head for the skull. Land owners are able to eat around 90% of the ones we catch. We rarely get them this big and nasty. usually we get 100-200lbers.
Nice pig man, This is the second weekend in a row that the dogs got one over 300lbs. Last weekend is posted in the hog reports. He was 310lbs. We got this 375lb beast in east louisiana, thats all I can say with the competative nature of dogging. Good spots are hard to come by these days. I hope you arent offended by that, because it is not meant to be.
A trophy indeed! And I don't think there would be anything that could make more noise than a few hog crazy dogs, 3 kids, and 3 grown ups... Oh and a caught pig.
All of the praise on this one goes to Obie david and their dogs, mine were doing the same as the others... Running a different race and trying to put the breaks on them.
Thanks for the comments fellas.
