...Choup hit it right,stay as natural as you can w/grey,silver or dark green w/white undersides...Mirror makes all of'em in floaters...we use to take off the back treble so you don't have to waste time w/the throwbacks...think they work best w/braided and just a snap...(leave off the leader and swivels)...but the next trip cut about 12 in. off and re-tie...cheer
Its been a long time , but we used to do real good on pink mirror lures , and the big Zara spooks mainly on the beach near Caminada pass . The Zara spook was colored like a natural mullet , gray back . My brother caught a 29 inch trout there . Hope this helps ...
