2012 Legislative Report
New Law--HCR65-Requests the Louisiana Department of Transportation &Development to conduct a traffic study relative to intersection of Louisiana Highway 1 and Highway 3090 ( Fourchon Road) in order to increase safety for motorists. Also requesting DOTD consider varying from the federal standard by lowering the speed limit at all approaches to this intersection and installing a full traffic light or four- way stop at the intersection.
