SLOW START AT THE BEACH!!! Had the pleasure of fishing today with a real nice family. Chris, his wife Canetti their sons Luke 12 and James 13. They were on time, we went down to Campo’s to pick up the bait and was idling out with Capt Jakamo in front of me. I took my eye off of him, cut the corner to short out of Campo’s and destroyed my lower unit. I HATE IT WHEN THAT HAPPENS!!! Jumped in my brothers Triton, grabbed the gear and supplies and took the group fishing. Had the pleasure of fishing today with Chris his wife canetti and their sons Luke age 12 and James age 13. It was the kids and wife’s first fishing trip. The wind was blowing 12-15 mph put the west and it was going to be too choppy for this group to fish in the sound. We went toward Christmas Camp lake. This was a good move. We got on a couple of good bites putting 62 trout in the boat and ran out of bait. Put plastic on and they were hitting the plastic. The family did a great job putting a nice box of fish together.

Captain Jakamo never gives up. He had the pleasure of fishing with Jordon Salpieta, Joe S and Tommy Mackey. They are in town for 2 days of fishing. The guys fished late and limited out catching 100 speckled trout. When they ran out of bait they caught the rest on plastic. Could not say enough how much fun they had. We are back at it tomorrow and will post a report.
