UN Arms Control Treaty - Dead For Now
Thanks in part to American gun owners and 51 members of the U.S. Senate, the Conference on the United Nations Arms Trade Treaty has broken down and will not report a draft treaty to the member nations at this time.
Fifty-one members of the Senate signed a letter to the President and Secretary of State in opposition to the treaty, letting them know it would not be ratified in the Senate. See the letter here: http://moran.senate.gov/public/index.cfm/files/serve?File_id=9cd86202-9498-47ca-8b8d-534bf60b52f7

I emailed both US Senators and explained my stance as well as the fact that any such treaty is in direct violation of the US Constitution as I have read and understand it.
