SHELL BEACH REPORT!!! Had the pleasure of fishing today with good friends Wayne Jamieson, Richie Wolcott, Steve Watson and Glenn Weller.We got an early start this morning and headed back to the areas in Breton Sound that I have been catching fish every day. Well as you know they have tails and they swim. Fished 3 hours in the area with nothing to show for it. Fished our way out to the compressor and got on a trout bite with some pretty fish. Just when they looked they were going to go a crew boat came and went right threw them. Capt Jakamo called me and said he was on a good bite not far from me. Went over to his spot, got his anchor rope and got nothing but hard head catfish. Made a move around the rig and started to put a few fish in the boat. Capt Markum was catching some trout and they looked like they were going to turn on. Made a little move and got on a good trout bite. We put 64 trout in the boat. All the fish were caught on Campo’s live shrimp tight lined on the bottom. A big storm blew up and one of the guys had to be at the airport. So we called it a day and headed for the lodge. We got hit hard with the rain but we were on the back side of the rocks when the wind picked up. Capt Jakamo had 2 anglers and 62 trout. Fishing contines to be good catching pretty trout in the sound. We have openings and ready to take you on your next fishing adventure.
