Just because she has pics of a truck and good numbers of a truck and service records of a truck.
Doesn't mean she has a truck.
Anyone can take a picture of any truck and write down vin numbers off someones truck that they know is good . that person may or may not have any knowledege of this? Easy scam. DO NOT send any money to anyone . If you can't lay eyes and hands on a vehicle along w/ its papers and owner .PASS!!!
I think I heard once that there's some saying that goes something like- If it sounds too good to be true....
Anyone else ever heard this?
Scammers know ALL the tricks. Don't deal out of state, no telephone number, no in person transaction, wiring money, cashier's checks, I'll pay you full price...........................
Don't be tempted by the great deal. That's what they want you to do- act on emotion and not on common sense!
Where are these people from that try to pull these scams ? Just all over ? My wife recently put an ad on another site trying to sell her jet ski . She said she had like 50 hits , but they all want her bank account number so they can wire her the money . She wasn't planning on giving it out , but jeez ! What is the world coming to .
She did give me a VIN number that I carfax'd and it was clean;no liens, and had service records.
She did tell me the truck was in El Paso and she was using AliExpress Escrow for the transaction.
