Shell Beach strikes again.
Had Pete and Sabrina, a couple from San Antonio, with me two days ago and they had a great time in the Glossie Mae. We fished the same area we have been for trout in the morning and found the water kinda stained. Went ahead and gave it a try and were able to get on um after a little stick and move and switch to carolina rigs. They put the hurt on um then and even with casual fishing tactics and stopping for a brew or a snack now and then were able to put 50 purdy speckled trout in the boat. They flew into New Orleans and did not need the fish, so were kind enough to donate their catch to my charity poboys instead of shipping it home. Thanks yall! But I did send them with enough for dinner to have cooked at Maurepas Foods in New Orleans. A great way to finish off a trip with us is to let us set this up for you. The marsh rewarded their kindness with some beautiful redfish that we caught on the way in and released.
