Ummmm i've never fisHed Lake P@nite but i'd try the trestles or Twin Span

Wish I cold help u but I would imagine the rigs in black bay or barataria bay would hold fish now. Also the jetties along the coast. Everything is on the outside now so that's where I would fish at night. Lake P is a hit or miss during the day so its probably the same at night. I used to fish at night all the time when I lived in houston. Fishing the jetties out of galveston. Fun times.

I too am looking to begin fishing at night in the area. I know some people on the northshore leave their lights on but remember running at night is a lot more dangerous.

Please make sure you have proper running lights and wear a PFD.

I like the leeville area. All the docks and marinas and shrimp sheds have lights. Go late. That way if you skunk you can fish anywhere else in the leeville area when light comes. Late is the key. Be very quite. If the fish scatter, back off and go to another spot for a while.

First and for most I want to appologize for my rudness yesterday evening and thanks for all the help guys.. I went to Lake Pontchatrain last night to few spots I know and found the fish pretty quickly. We fished for a total of 2-3 hours and caught a few 4-5 lb trout and a few smaller ones. We also caught a limit of black drum but no reds.. Thanks to all that sent advice..
