I fished the BISSO Marine crew this week  and as usual the 2012 Oilman Rodeo started off no different on Friday than any other other rodeo normally  does with high winds and thunderstorms all around us. 
Despite the ugly conditions we did get out for a few hours on Friday morning and Friday evening and on both trips we had to leave bitting fish to run in from the rain storms.  My crew where die hard fisherman so we pushed it a little to long and where drenched on both trips but we had a blast doing it.  

Saturday was a totally different day with perfect weather conditions so Glenn, Tommy , Josh and I decided to tie on Topwater plugs and fish the surf and  it sure was a great choice.  We caught or missed a fish nearly everycast for almost 2 hours as we packed up the Yeti with beautiful sized trout, when the Topwater bite slowed down a little we made a move and found more hungry trout and some monster Redfish to add to the box.  Glenn also had a chance to fight with a beast of Jack that we landed for a quick picture and then sent back on his way,  we had a great 2 days of fishing and the best accommodations you could ever ask for.  These guys from BISSO know how to do it the right way,  we had a awesome chef onboard for 3 days preparing meals for us  and they put us up in house boat that u could get lost on.  Thanks to Capt. Marty for putting this trip together it was one to remember.
