Plots

There is really no seed that does good in flooded areas. Your best bet would be to plant something cheap such as oats, wheat, rye. I would bot spend a fortune on fancy seeds. My place floods alot to. These seeds can usually take water for a day or 2 they they rot on you after that.

Seed

I have a buddy that plants regular ole rye grass in his lil food plot , and it floods all the time . I've seen water completely over the grass and figured it would be the end of that , but when the water goes down the rye grass is layed over but comes right back strong . My buddy also has a lil 2'X2 platform he pours corn on top of . It's about 3 ft tall , and gets pics of deer wading through the water and eating off the lil table he built for them . Swamp deer are some tough critters ...

flooded food plots

I hunt on land that floods all the time. Food plots are not an option. There's a lot of food in the basin. My suggestion is to use salt. Try putting out a few piles with a camera nearby. You will be impressed. I buy regular ole morton salt from Walmart. Cut open the box and dump it in a small hole. The animals need minerals, and they will seek it out. Cheaper than food plots or corn.
