Inshore Fishing in Cocodrie / DuLarge in South Central Louisiana

1st time in Chauvin/Cocodrie

Im going on a bowfishing trip Aug 17th in Chauvin. The next day we are taking my 24' out for a day of fishing for red/specks and I was curious on some fishing spots/areas that anyone could share that would benefit me. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!
